12 Weeks of Prayer Week 4 Day 6

THANK GOD FOR THE VICTORY NOW AND ONWARD

By Justin N. Citro

"Now thanks be unto God,

which always causeth us to triumph in Christ,

and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place."

2 Corinthians 2:14

In this life, we face many challenges and some of those can be extremely hard to bear, but we have an advantage because the Lord Jesus Christ has come to fight for His people, giving victory to His church. Lately, the Church has been pushed and stretched to the limit with everything that is occurring, but it seems that Church has forgotten who it belongs to. That is overly concerning. The Church has been put under severe pressure by the world, and it appears the church has forgotten Christ in the middle of all this tension. What we as Christians need to do now is to start thanking God that He has given us victory in the middle of hardship for the Lord has always come through for His children ever since day one of the earth. Brothers and Sisters, do not be afraid for the Lord is on the move and the victory is coming! Now let us see what the Word says about victory after trials. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 2:14 KJV, "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place." This verse contains the truth of the victory we have in Christ, and we should be in constant thanks to the Father for giving us Jesus Christ. Even though we are living perilous times, Beloved, we need to be rejoicing in all things for the Lord always provides a way to victory for His people, which is more proof that we serve a living God! This is the hope I leave you today, Brothers and Sisters. Take heart and remember that we have victory in Christ for Christ has overcome the world! The Lord is always ready to help when His people are in need, but the Lord always expects His people to be in right relationship with Him. Heavenly Father, thank You for being my victory and making me victorious no matter what comes my way. Father, I ask that You help me face the challenges of this world. Thank You again that You have given victory to Your church Your people! In Jesus' Name, Amen!
