His Creation Is Perfect

"It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens."

Jeremiah 10:12

God exercised specific qualities in creation of the earth and heavens: First, His will chose to create. It was at His discretion to create or not create. He didn't need to create. He wasn't lonely. He didn't have any void He needed to fill. Rather, He made a choice out of His love. Love, first and foremost, wants to give. By creating humanity, you and I, God could extend His love.

Second, His power created all things. It was not evolution. Some gases and chemicals were not floating around in space, and suddenly design and order happened. God the Father decreed the heavens and the earth and spoke them into existence. It was the power of His Word that created all things -the great waterfalls, the majestic mountains, lush meadows, and, of course, mankind all came into being by the power of His Word. As His children, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, we like our Father have creative power in our words.

Thirdly, He used mighty wisdom in creation. God didn’t create the trees and have to go back and create dry land. His wisdom saw all the contingencies, all the intricacies; He saw all the needs of animals, plants, and mankind and built them into His creation. Just think of all the newest discoveries of medicine, they were planned and placed into grasses, tree barks, and shrubbery at creation. If our God is this detailed, this wise, and this accurate in the creation of heavens and earth, will He not be equally wise and specific in providing for all the needs of His sons and daughters? Selah.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, again I thank You I am fearfully and wonderfully made. You continue to provide all my needs in life and give me all things to enjoy this day. Amen.
