VOICE OF HOPE

Updated: Mar 23, 2022

A Voice to Those Without Hope.

22 March 2022

I can no better explain what Voice of Hope represents than through the voice of Rev. Dr. Teresa Allissa Citro. "Voice of Hope is committed and devoted to being an avenue that will help others grow spiritually, emotionally, and in knowledge."

FOUNDER'S PEARLS

Rev. Dr. Teresa Allissa Citro brings wonderful insights and wisdom. Nothing less than precious pearls from her pen.

ONLY BELIEVE!

Do you want change, miracles, and new beginnings? Great! Step out in faith into the uncharted waters. Nothing changes until you move in faith, believing that everything is possible with God.

Mark 9:23

"If you can?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes."

Rev. Dr. Teresa Allissa Citro.

THE TRUMPET

Hosea 8:1 “Set the trumpet to your lips! [The enemy] comes as a [great] vulture against the house of the Lord, because they have broken my covenant and transgressed against my law.”

The message is a call to each one that will heed the call to prepare as soldiers would prepare for war. To put on the full armor of light as to stand fully equipped against the dominion of darkness in these last days. The mandate is to equip and make ready a people for the soon return of their King.

THE NEED FOR GRACE.

Genesis 1:26-28

26. And God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion.

27. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created he them.

Genesis 1:28

And God blessed them, and said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion.

Genesis 2:15-17

15. And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in that day that thou eats thereof thou shalt surely die.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

19. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thy and thy seed may live:

20. That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Who were to have dominion? Adam and Eve and every person born after them. What were they to have dominion over? They were to master sin and have dominion over darkness and the god of this world. They were to take care of the garden, to watch over it and keep it and guard it against the dominion of sin and darkness. They were given sovereign authority to restore to its former condition the earth. To fill the earth once again with the glory of God where God would be worshipped and revered as God Most High. To bring forth a people made in the image and likeness of God. To bring forth a people after God. But something happened in the process that God in His sovereign foreknowledge had foreseen, as He knows and is fully aware of all things beforehand and He knows the beginning from the end.

Genesis 3:1-11

1. Now the serpent was subtler and craftier than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And He [Satan] said to the woman, can it be that God said, you shall not eat from every tree of the garden?

2. And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit from the trees of the garden,

3. Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, you shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

4. But the serpent said to the woman, you shall not surely die,

5. For God knows in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity.

6. And when the woman saw that the tree was good (suitable and pleasant) for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired too make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some to her husband, and he ate.

7. Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves apron-like girdles.

8. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

9. But the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, where are you?

10. He said, I heard the sound of you [walking] in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid.

11. And He said, who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?

Satan lost his position because of his own doing but he was angry and filled with hatred toward God. Satan wanted to take back the authority that once belonged to him. He wanted to gain back his dominion upon the earth that was now given unto Adam. Satan planned to deceive Adam and Eve and he succeeded at his plan as he is very skilled and subtle in deception. At the first Eve never even took notice of the tree in the middle of the garden. She was captured by the beauty of the garden, and the presence of God. Fulfilled in the fullness and provision of her Creator. But, Satan, deceitfully came with a plan, and Eve not being aware of how evil and crafty the serpent was, entertained him, and he shifted her attention, he shifted her desire, he got her to take note of the tree in the middle of the garden. He made her take note, and then he took it one step further to get her to look upon it and then even one step further to get her to gaze upon it until she came to a point of actually desiring it. No longer satisfied, she desired more. She desired what this tree had to offer and the tree now became delightful to look at even desirable to eat. Being so skilled at deception he convinced her to disobey the command given by God and to believe God to be a liar. She exchanged the truth for a lie. The serpent deceived Eve right up to the point where she believed the lie of the serpent and she ate the fruit which God commanded not to eat, and she gave to Adam, and he also ate. Immediately after they sinned against God and disobeyed His command their physical eyes were opened and they lost their spiritual sight.

Sin separated them from the presence of God and the glory of God that covered them lifted. They were found naked and ashamed. They hid from the presence of God as no flesh can stand in His holy presence. Because they lost their spiritual sight they could no longer see God but only hear Him walking in the garden. They sewed fig leaves together trying to cover their shame but nothing they did could cover the shame of sin. God called to Adam, not that He did not know where he was, His question was a statement. Adam, where are you! You have left my abode, you have left your state of divinity. You have sinned against me hence you have left the domain of light where my presence dwells. You have given up your position. You have sold your birthright. You allowed sin to master you instead of mastering it. Adam, you are now in the domain of darkness where my presence cannot be found. You have fallen so far, Adam!

Adam chose not to obey the voice of God but rather he heeded to the voice of his wife. The consequences brought separation from the presence of God. The glory of God lifted because of sin and they were found to be naked. They went from life to death. They lost their position as spiritual sons of God and became sons of the earth. They exchanged their position as a spirit man in a body and became a body with a spirit. They were no longer God conscious but now became sin conscious. No longer did their spirit dominate them but their flesh. The death that God warned them against was not physical death but spiritual death. They lost the image and likeness of God for they were no longer a spirit son and daughter. They were no longer like their Father. The Word of God clearly states that God is Spirit. They were no longer able to be in the bright presence of God because of sin and they were cast out into the darkness. They treated the presence and the glory of God, something so sacred, with irreverence and disrespect. They fell from glory in the same manner as Satan did. Because of the sin of Adam, everyone born from him would be born in a state of sin and darkness like their father. Everyone would now be born in a state of decay and death for the regenerating life-giving power of God had departed from man. No longer would Adam and Eve live forever but now the sting of death has taken hold of them.

Genesis 3:22-24

22. And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever:

23. Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

24. So he drove out the man, and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim’s, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

While in their sinful state mankind had no right to the tree of life. I am convinced that Adam’s countenance dropped and he felt sad and depressed being driven out of the presence of his Creator and out of the garden, no longer being allowed access into the Garden of Eden where God dwelt and no longer had access to the tree of life. The tree that as long as they partook of it, granted them eternal life, quickened them daily by the life that flowed from God Almighty. And I am convinced God spoke the same words unto Adam as he spoke unto Cain.

Genesis 2:6-7

6. And the Lord said to Cain, why are you angry? And why do you look sad and depressed and dejected?

7. If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it.

I am convinced God rebuked Adam, saying, “Did I not place before you life and death, blessing and cursing, for you to choose, saying of all the trees in the garden you may eat, but, did I not also command you, not to eat from the tree in the middle of the garden, for the day you eat of it you will, surely die? Did I not place you in the garden of Eden, the garden of God? Did I not bless you to be fruitful and multiply, to fill the earth with more like us made in our image? Did I not give you the mandate to replenish the earth to its original state to have dominion over sin and darkness? Did I not form you, my son, and give you sovereign authority upon the earth? But all of this was not enough for you desired more. You looked upon and desired, even to the point of partaking in sin and stepping into the domain of darkness. You dared to doubt my word of truth and to believe a lie. You thought you could play around in the dark and I would be okay with it. You, Adam, chose to sell your birthright, to partake of something I warned you not to! Adam scorned his birthright as beneath his notice. We read in scripture how Esau many years later did the same selling his birthright for a bowl of red lentil stew. The question remains what will we sell our birthright for?

Genesis 25:30-34

30. And Esau said to Jacob, I beg of you, let me have some of that red lentil stew to eat, for I am faint and famished! That is why his name was called Edom [red].

31. Jacob answered, then sell me today your birthright (the right of a firstborn).

32. Esau said, See here, I am at the point of death; what good can this birthright do me?

33. Jacob said, swear to me today [that you are selling it to me], and he swore to Jacob and sold him his birthright.

34. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils, and he ate and drank and rose and went his way. Thus, Esau scorned his birthright as beneath his notice.

1 Corinthians 10:21-22

21. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of the devils.

Genesis 3: 17-19

17. And unto Adam He said, because thou have hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt, thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18. Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee, and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19. In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for dust thou art, and unto dust shall thou return.

Another consequence that followed because of the fall the whole earth was now under a curse of decay and death. The whole earth now was suffering under the curse of sin and only the Son of God, the second Adam would be able to restore all things as to how it was in the Garden of Eden. In God’s sovereign foreknowledge, foreseeing all things beforehand, foreseeing the end from the beginning, God knew that Adam would fail in the mission set before him. He in His extraordinary grace, bestowed upon us extraordinary favor, providing us with hope. He would restore man to his former glory through Christ Jesus our Lord. Thus, the Word of God clearly states Christ in us the hope of glory. For only by Christ alone could that which was lost in the garden of Eden be restored. Only through Christ could the curse be lifted. Only through Christ could we once again enter into the presence, the brilliant light of God. Only through Christ could we once again enter into God’s kingdom of righteousness and peace. Only through Christ could we once again partake of the Tree of Life. The first Adam failed in the mandate given to him by God but the second Adam will accomplish that which He was sent to do.

1 Corinthians 15:45-

45. The Scripture tells us, "The first man, Adam, became a living person. "But the last Adam- that is, Christ - is a life-giving spirit.

46. What comes first is the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later.

47. Adam. the first man was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven.

48. Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man.

49. Just as we are like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man.

50. What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit The Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.

1 Corinthians 15:22

Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.

New life has been granted to each one of us in Christ Jesus should we choose this new life of being born of the Spirit. Should we choose to remain as partakers of the earthly man we can in no way receive this new life. Jesus clearly said we must be born again! We must be born of water and of the Spirit to inherit the Kingdom of God. To be partakers with Christ is a birthright given through grace. Being part of the Remnant is a birthright! The question remains will we take hold of this birthright or will we also sell our birthright in the same manner as Adam, Esau, and so many others. The choice is ours. The truth of the matter is Christ in us is the only hope of glory!

REAL TALK WITH JNC

John 8:32"Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free."

Where every message will bring you the undefiled truth of God's Word so that you can walk in the fulness of the abundant life that is found in Christ Jesus.

THE PEOPLE OF GOD VERSUS THE WORLD.

For generations, the people of God have been facing the evils of the world, from the children of Israel facing the trials and tribulations after the Joseph era, to facing the persecution that we are going through today we as the people of the Lord have been in a never-ending battle with the world. The world today rejects us Christians, for us as the people of God put stops to the world's evil plans to attack the church but we were warned about the persecution that would befall the church as mentioned in 1 Peter 4:12, but we as Christians must remember that Jesus said that we must endure. However, there are some in the body of believers who think differently as to what we think, for instance, there are some who believe that sexual perversion and immorality is ok for Christians to accept, this is wrong for in both testaments of the bible there are warnings to this heinous act toward God but in today's world that gets canceled because of worldly views that have infiltrated the church today. Why as the body of believers do we fall for tricks that involve us straying further and further away from God? The Bible says in Matthew 24:24(KJV) "For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.' Here this passage perfectly describes the trickery of the devil in the world attacking the church, we are in this period of the end times where Christians are being tricked by false doctrine, promises of riches, and other things. The reason why we as the body of Christ fail to see this battle between good and evil is that we don't want to acknowledge sin! My brothers and sisters, we must wake up and ask the Lord for wisdom like King Solomon. The time is coming that our Lord is coming back for his people and we must make sure we are, correct before the Lord and armed with the amour of God. However, we have this great hope that the Lord is still with us to guide us on the path of righteousness. The Lord will give us the power to endure to the very end, but we must be prayed up and filled with the spirit of God and continue the good fight for there is light at the end of the tunnel.
