VOICE OF HOPE

A Voice of Hope to Those Without Hope

28 March 2022

I can no better explain what Voice of Hope represents than through the voice of Rev. Dr. Teresa Allissa Citro. "Voice of Hope is committed and devoted to being an avenue that will help others grow spiritually, emotionally, and in knowledge."

FOUNDER'S PEARLS

Rev. Dr. Teresa Allissa Citro brings wonderful insights and wisdom. Nothing less than precious pearls from her pen.

PRIDE COMES BEFORE A FALL!

Pride is your worst enemy. It destroys everything. Kills relationships and stops destiny. Pride acts entitled and lies to itself. Fools are filled with it.

Proverbs 11:2

"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom."

Rev. Dr. Teresa Allissa Citro.

THE TRUMPET

Hosea 8:1 “Set the trumpet to your lips! [The enemy] comes as a [great] vulture against the house of the Lord, because they have broken my covenant and transgressed against my law.”

The message is a call to each one that will heed the call to prepare as soldiers would prepare for war. To put on the full armor of light as to stand fully equipped against the dominion of darkness in these last days. The mandate is to equip and make ready a people for the soon return of their King.

GO, AND SIN NO MORE.

John 8:4-12

4. They say unto Him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5. Now MOSES IN THE LAW COMMANDED US THAT SUCH SHOULD BE STONED: BUT WHAT SAYEST THOU?

6. This they said tempting Him, that they might have to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though He heard them not,

I am convinced that writing in the earth He was thinking to Himself, “Sons of Adam, sons of the earth. How ignorant you are. Are you not all sons of Adam, sons of the earth? Are you not all born into a state of sin and death? Are you not all condemned? Have you not all fallen short of the glory of God? Are not each of you wearing garments stained with sin? Is there any among you without sin, worthy to throw the first stone?

7. So when they continued asking Him, He lifted up Himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8. And again He stooped down, and wrote in the ground.

9. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

10. When Jesus had lifted up Himself and saw none but the woman, He said unto her, where are those accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?

11. She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE: GO, AND SIN NO MORE.

12. Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follow me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

The only righteous One, the perfect Lamb, the Holy One of God, the only one who was without sin and who had the right and the authority to throw a stone at this woman and to declare her guilty and condemned, chose not to. How sweet the sound of the voice of her Saviour must have been to this woman when He uttered the words, “NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE. GO, AND SIN NO MORE.” Jesus was bringing the good news of the Gospel to this woman. He was revealing unto her the truth of salvation that was found only in Him. He was revealing unto her the indescribable, uncontainable love of God that has brought unto her the gift of grace. He was revealing unto her that the promised Messiah is now standing before her and He has come to bring her something better than the law ever could. The law only brought condemnation. He has come to bring her the gift of grace from the heart of God. Old things have passed away and now she can have a new life through faith in Him. Sin will no longer have dominion over her because she no longer had to live under the yoke of sin. Grace has visited her and He was standing before her now to tell her she had been set free. For where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. Sin would no longer have dominion over her.

What did Mary do when she came face to face with grace? She took hold of it, she held it tight not wanting to let grace slip through her fingers. She made up her mind that she would follow wherever grace would lead her for she no longer desired the life she had lived. She now was standing face to face with a new life this man Jesus was offering her. A life of freedom and peace. At that very moment, she stepped out of the darkness that had held her captive for so long and she stepped into the brilliant light of God's presence where she now was excepted and loved without pretense, or any selfish agendas. It was a perfect and unconditional love that she had never experienced not even in the arms of any man. But this man, Jesus, had shown her this love, therefore, she made up her mind that very moment that she would not give up this love for any other. She would hold on to this love and this gift of grace with everything that was within her and she would let no one take it from her. She would go tell everyone she knew and all that would come on her way about what happened to her on that day when she was caught in the act of adultery and found guilty of sin.

Lying there in the dirt, rejected and ashamed. The eyes of those around her looked at her with such hatred and despise. They were throwing condemning words at her like the stones they were holding in their hands to stone her with. These words hurt even more than those would. She was so afraid, fear gripped her heart as she was standing face to face with death. All of a sudden between all the confusion and chaos, between all the shouting and cursing, she heard another voice. A voice so gentle it immediately brought peace to her heart when she heard it. The most beautiful voice she has ever heard. All around her the confusion and chaos came to an end and the shouting and cursing stopped. The atmosphere felt so thick you could cut through it with a knife as she heard Him ask the question as He was stooping down and writing in the earth. Who of you are without sin? If any of you are without sin then throw the first stone. She slightly looked up, she had to see who this man was that could bring peace to such chaos by only speaking a word. He was different. He had such authority about Him. He gave her this assuring smile that said, do not be afraid, Mary, I am here now. All of a sudden she heard the stones drop to the ground one by one as she saw her accusers walk away until not even one was left. Then she heard that voice once again, Mary, where are your accusers? She answered almost unable to get the words out, they have all left. Mary, has any man condemned you? Not one. Could this be possible? He picked her up from the dust of the earth and as she stood before him her face was all dirty, a result of the dust and tears. He gently wiped away the dirt from her face and dried up her tears with the loving touch of his hand. At that moment the shame she felt disappeared. She felt clean. Mary, anything is possible, if you can believe, He said with a smile. The love she felt when she looked up, into the eyes of the one who saved her. He looked into her eyes as if He was looking right into her soul and when she looked into His eyes, the most beautiful eyes she has ever seen glistened with light, filled with love unexplainable flowing from them. And that smile. She has never seen such a smile that would light up the heart of anyone. The warmest most inviting smile. As he looked at her He took her hands in His and looked at her in such a way as if to say, Mary, I now require your full attention.

Mary, there is now therefore no condemnation for those who have faith in me and believe my words. I have come to break the yoke of sin and to destroy the powers of darkness, and I have come to fulfill the whole requirement of the law. Now you have the power to overcome sin. I tell you the truth; sin shall not have dominion over you any longer because I have come to set you free from the law of sin and death and you are now under grace. Mary, if you believe the word I am speaking now then go and live this new life I have given you. Go sin no more and go live a life as one that is free.

Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law but under grace.

Romans 6:18

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Romans 8:1-2

1. There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION TO THEM WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO WALK NOT ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.

2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Isaiah 53:5

5. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; with His stripes, we are healed.

6. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Jesus laid His body on the altar taking the punishment of this woman. Being despised and mocked on her behalf. Putting Himself in her place taking upon His body the beating of every rock that was to be thrown at her. He carried her sorrows and bore her griefs. HE TOOK HER SIN UPON HIS BODY, BEING CONDEMNED UNTO DEATH. He took her guilt so that she could be declared no longer guilty. And He did all of this for each of us.

But after showing such mercy towards this woman He gave her an instruction, go sin no more. We need to take note of this instruction for it is given to each of us who like Mary believes in the message of salvation that is only found in Christ. If you truly believe this Gospel and if you have truly received this gift of grace then I tell you, go, sin no more and live a life as one that is free.

Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law but under grace.

James 2:14

What does it profit, my brethren, though a man says he has faith and has not works? Can faith save him?

James 2:17-26

17. Even so faith if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

18. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.

19. Thou believe that there is one God; thou doesn’t well: the devils also believe and tremble.

20. BUT WILT THOU KNOW, O VAIN MAN, THAT FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD?

21. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

22. SEEST THOU HOW FAITH WROUGHT (cooperated) WITH HIS WORKS, AND BY WORKS WAS FAITH MADE PERFECT?

23. And the scriptures were fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and. It was imputed unto him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of God.

24. YE SEE THEN HOW BY WORKS MAN IS JUSTIFIED, AND NOT BY FAITH ONLY.

25. Likewise also was not Rahman the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers and had sent them out to another way?

26. FOR AS THE BODY WITHOUT THE SPIRIT IS DEAD, SO FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS

DEAD.

Again I say,

Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law but under grace.

Romans 3:23-24

23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

24. Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Go sin no more. Live a life as one that is free!

RENEWED (body, soul & spirit)

Rika spent 22 years climbing the Corporate ladder, just to realize the ladder was against the wrong building.

She entered the fitness industry in 2007 and had 3 successful Curves franchises where she was personally involved in coaching and counseling members with further studies in Nutrition at Baylor University, Texas, and the Cleveland Heart Clinic. “There is no greater reward than making a difference in people’s lives. “

When her husband was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer in 2015, it impacted their lifestyle dramatically, unfortunately, it was too late for Bruce.

Through this experience, the Lord birthed a desire to educate, counsel, and facilitate innovative mental, physical and spiritual health solutions through an in-depth focus on individual holistic wellbeing.

“I thank the Lord for the vision and am blessed to be able to provide knowledge of renewal in mind, body, and spirit to complete health and healing."

Ps 138 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We have a responsibility to care for our bodies and not abuse them for we are the temple of God.

THOUGHTS HAVE POWER

Think about what you are thinking about …….

Medical research made a discovery that 87% of all diseases are a result of what goes on in our thought life! What we think and meditate on, affects us emotionally and physically, that is our whole body. Your nervous system, immune system, gastrointestinal system, heart, muscles, bones, endocrine system (hormones) are all affected by your thoughts. Every time you meditate on thought it changes your brain and body in a positive or destructive way.

Proverbs 23:7” As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Be careful what you think. Your thoughts shape your life as they have a creative ability.

Negative mindsets that cause disease:

  • Fear, anxiety & stress

  • Anger, rage & resentment

  • Hatred, unforgiveness & bitterness

  • Guilt, shame & condemnation

  • Low self-esteem & self-hatred

  • Gossip, fault finding, strife & a critical spirit

  • Envy & jealousy.

  • Hopelessness

Satan knows that the mind-body connection is real and if he can control your thought life, he can control your body chemistry and cause disease. IF you want to change your life and state of health, you have to change your thinking. You can use your brain to help your body heal as well as prevent disease in your life.

Your brain has an incredible ability to change, rewire, grow and heal. You can remodel memories in your brain and your genes by changing your thinking. The Word of God is clear about it in Phil 4:8 “ Whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and loveable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious if there be any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things (fix your mind on them)”.

It is always God’s will to heal you, but your healing is conditional to your obedience.
