Thread of Hope, Inc welcomes you to our websites and applications.  Thread of Hope, Inc (“TOH”) provides these digital assets for your information. They are meant to educate and give insight for your spiritual needs.

By accessing websites and digital applications provided by Thread of Hope, Inc (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated below ("Terms and Conditions") and all applicable laws.  Moreover, you accept, without limitation or qualification, these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that these Terms and Conditions are the only agreement between you and Thread of Hope, Inc (“TOH”) that applies to your use of Thread of Hope’s Site. We reserve the right to make any modifications we believe are necessary at any time, please review this site and these Terms and Conditions at any time.   Each time you use the Site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in the version then current at the time you access the Site.  The current version of these Terms and Conditions will always be posted and available for you to review.

Unless expressly stated to the contrary, everything you see, hear, read, or access in any way on the Site is and shall remain the copyrighted intellectual property of Thread of Hope, Inc.  Thread of Hope, Inc authorizes the download of material displayed on the Site solely and exclusively for non-commercial, personal use.  Your authorized use of Thread of Hope materials, including the text, images, audio, video, blog posts, comments,  forums, and any other content created with  extant or future tools (“the materials”), means; 

(1) the materials must not be modified in any way, 
(2) the materials must not be used in a way that indicates or implies a representative association of any kind between  the user and Thread of Hope, Inc, 
(3) your use of the materials must abide by these Terms and Conditions, the Thread of Hope Reprint Permission Guide, and express statements regarding use of the materials in the text of  the Site. Any other use requires express written authorization and permission from TOH.  Thread of Hope, Inc neither warrants nor represents that your use of materials displayed on the Site will not infringe rights of third parties not owned by or affiliated with Thread of Hope, Inc or infringe the laws of any jurisdiction outside the United States of America.

 

To the best of our ability Thread of Hope, Inc includes accurate and up to date information in the Site, TOH makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy. Thread of Hope, Inc assumes no liability to you or to any third party for any errors or omissions in any content that may be made available to you through the site.

To the best of our ability Thread of Hope, Inc ensures that any content that may be made available to you through your access to the Site will not deleteriously affect any computer system or systems that you may use to access the Site, and continuously works to maintain the highest possible standards of information security and integrity throughout all TOH computer systems, including the Site.  Notwithstanding, Thread of Hope, Inc assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any software or content (commonly called “malware”) that may damage your computer equipment or other property consequent on your access to, use of, or browsing in the site or your downloading of any materials, data, text, images, video, or audio from the site.

 

Thread of Hope, Inc cannot guarantee the security of any device you may use to access the Site, nor the security of the public Internet, TOH cannot guarantee the confidentiality or integrity of any material you transmit publicly or privately to the Site by electronic mail or otherwise, including but not limited to any data, text, software, music, sound, videos, messages, tags, blogs or forum postings, questions, comments, suggestions, or the like. While Thread of Hope, Inc uses reasonable efforts to preserve your privacy, TOH reserves the right to use, at TOH’s sole discretion, anything you transmit or post for any purpose, including, but not limited to, reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast, and posting, provided that such use does not include your personally identifiable information. Images displayed on the Site are either the property of, or used with permission by, TOH. Your use of these images, or use by anyone else authorized by you, is prohibited unless specifically permitted by these Terms and Conditions, or specific permission provided elsewhere on the Site. Your use of these images may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes.

 

The trademarks, logos, service marks and product and service names related to Thread of Hope, Inc (collectively the "Trademarks") displayed on the Site are registered and unregistered Trademarks of Thread of Hope, Inc and others. Nothing contained on the Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on the Site without the written permission of Thread of Hope, Inc or such third party that may own the Trademarks displayed on the Site. Your use of the Trademarks displayed on the Site, or any other content on the Site, except as provided in these Terms and Conditions, is strictly prohibited. You are also advised that Thread of Hope, Inc will enforce its intellectual property rights to the full extent of the law, including the seeking of criminal prosecution where appropriate.

 

Thread of Hope, Inc continuously reviews sites and services that may be available to you through links on the Site, TOH may not have reviewed all of the sites linked to the Site at any given time, and is neither responsible for nor liable to you or any third party for the content of any off-site pages or any other sites linked to the Site. Your use of any link on the Site to browse to any other off-site pages, or other sites is entirely at your own risk.

Thread of Hope, Inc may at its discretion provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to these Terms of Use, including but not limited to email, regular mail, SMA, MMS, text message, postings on Thread of Hope, Inc sites, or other reasonable means now known or hereafter developed.

 

Member Conduct

Thread of Hope, Inc may from time to time monitor or review discussions, chats, postings, transmissions, bulletin boards, and the like on the Site, TOH is under no obligation to do so and assumes no responsibility or liability arising from the content of any such resources nor for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, impersonation of any person or entity obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information within such locations on the Site. You may not use the Site to post, to transmit, or to upload any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, invasive of another’s privacy, discriminatory, harmful to minors or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.

 

Thread of Hope, Inc will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing TOH to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.

Choice of law

Thread of Hope, Inc is organized under the laws of the state of Massachusetts in the United States of America, and these Terms of Use and Terms and Conditions are governed by Massachusetts law. If any provision of this agreement is unlawful, void or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This is the entire agreement regarding the matters discussed on this page.

 

Software and content from this Site is further subject to United States Export Controls. No software from this Site may be downloaded or exported intentionally or unintentionally (i) into (or to a national or resident of) Cuba, Iran, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Sudan, Syria or any other country to which the United States has embargoed goods; or (ii) anyone on the United States Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or the U.S. Commerce Department's Table of Deny Orders.  By downloading or using the software, you represent and warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any such country or organization(s) designated by the United States government as a foreign terrorist organization pursuant to section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act or on any such list.

 

Storage of information regarding your activities on the Site

Logging Information: Threadofhope.org (apps) logs and stores anonymous information each time you visit the site. This information includes: Time and Date of visit, IP address, host, client (browser type) and the referrer by which you came to threadofhope.org. This information is used strictly for statistical analysis. This information is NOT shared or sold to any unaffiliated third parties under any circumstances, the only exception being inquiries by local, state, federal, and international authorities.

No waiver of terms

Failure to exercise or enforce these Terms of Use or any part or parts of these Terms of Use shall not constitute waiver of any terms or provision incorporated in these Terms of Use

 

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found by a competent court of jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties (“You” and “TOH”) nevertheless agree that the court shall endeavor to give effect to the parties’ intention as reflected in the provision, and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

You acknowledge, consent and agree that Thread of Hope, Inc may access, preserve and disclose your account information and content if required to do so by the law or in a good faith belief that such access preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process; Enforce Terms of Use; respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties; Respond to your requests for service; or Protect the rights, property or personal safety of Thread of Hope, Inc, its users and public.
